Alex Garcia was born and raised in South Florida. He grew to love and appreciate the art of construction at a very young age. His first projects were shared with his father and grandfather who provided him with a solid foundation.

In 2004, Alex decided to pursue a career in construction working as a Project Manager for a commercial construction company. A few years later, Alex became a Certified General Contractor and started his own company primarily focusing on interior remodels. After building his skills and knowledge on his own for five years, he was ready to take his career to the next level.

In 2011, an opportunity arose to work with Habify, a company dedicated to providing full-service home remodeling with an emphasis on energy efficiency and sustainability. There he maintained the position of Construction Manager for 8 years. In 2019, Habify restructured their business model creating an opportunity for Alex to start his own company while still working alongside. DNA General Contracting was then established.
